Baby got all cloudy then cleared up?
Hello, this is my first post but I have been lurking for awhile. We have had our captive bred normal for 5 weeks. She is a great eater. She turned all grey and cloudy the other day, including her eyes. A couple days later, she has cleared up pretty much and her eyes are clear again. Is this the normal shedding process? I appreciate your help.

Yes, in a couple days you will have a fresh shed and a really clean snake:D

Here is a good thread on the shedding process.

Yup - totally normal. I'd boost your humidity a touch to help her out with this process. You don't mention what your humidity is at, but I like to keep mine at 60-70% and boost it up to 75-ish when they are going in shed. I end up with a perfect shed every time.

Yes, totally normal. Mine usually shed a day or two after they clear up. I usually try to bump the humidity up to close to 70 when I notice they are going into shed. I put damp, not sopping spaghum moss in a hide. They like to rub on that to get shed off too. I usually find shed inside the hide. Along with a bright shiny hungry snake. :D

Great! Thanks for all the help. I did bump it up to 75%. She seems pretty content.
