Speak to me of Super Black Pastels/Cinnys

So I know with super mojaves and super lessers there is some difference. Super mojaves tend to have the more purple head, if I'm correct.

So with super black pastels vs super cinnamons vs black pastel/cinnamon...which of those 3 produces the darkest offspring? World of Ball Pythons isn't a really great help, as they don't have quite as many pics to look through.

from what i've seen in person, super black pastel is the darkest. super cinnys I have seen are brown, while the super black pastel I saw was a dark brown, almost black. I haven't seen a 8 ball in person besides babies and they all look pretty dark as babies.

I agree. I think super black pastels are the darkest. Actually black in color. Or close to black. Super cinnys tend to be dark brown. And i haven't seen a black pastel cinny yet.

I hatched a Super Cinny last season that was velvet Black. I can't speak of BPs.

I'm hoping that I can prove this guy out if it does it should in theory come out BLACK

I would say that it matters on how dark the cinny/black pastel are. I will be breeding this year to produce supers of both snakes. I guess time will tell on that. I am going into the long term breeding for a panda pied and will be trying to get it from both super forms of black pastel and cinny. I am curious on which one would look better myself on that. Yes super mojaves have the purple colored head. But to me they look the best.

She is a nice deep black and is pushing 250g+. I have seen browned out supers from bp x bp and dark super cinni. Quality and lineage of the breeders plays a big factor in quality of the super. I also think a bp x cinni is less prone to duck bills and kinks. If she doesn't sell then we are going to be breeding her and going for more super blacks.

I have SEVERAL shots at a panda pied this season. I'm using a couple of backup males though, just to cover my bases. Bred so far:

Pewter pied x pewter pied
Pewter pied x pewter het pied (2 different females)
Pewter het pied x pewter het pied

I have more yet to introduce. I'm hoping to see a panda among other things.
