    Panick Attack! Help!
I use one of those little lap tables for my LT when I'm relaxing and watching TV. This morning I brought my baby bp out to hang with me for awhile and she managed to cram herself into a small hole inside the table. I hadn't even noticed it was there but now I'm in a panick because the only way to get her out is to spring the drink holder and I think that's going to hurt her. If anyone has any ideas before I tear this thing apart please tell me.

The only thing I can tell you is just tear that thing apart very carefully and get your snake out.

If she got in, odds are she can get back out, too.

Do you have a large enough securely closing tub or cardboard box to place the whole thing in until she gets bored with hiding in the cup holder?

    x2

She'll probably come out on her own if you give her time.

I'm sitting here with this thing on my lap and I can feel her moving around inside it. I'm hoping that the vibration and sounds of typing will make her want to come out. Damn! I thought it was so cute the way she was cruizing around the computer too. lol

One thing you could try is...
Putting a heat source outside so when your snake gets cold it will go to the heat. Another idea is to use the scent of food. Try taking a mouse and rubbing it around and hopefully your snake will come out to investigate.

Uh oh another snake got loose. Dont let florida find out they may ban balls now lol. On a serious not balls like dark close quarters. I had one get out and go under a rack in my snake room so i put a flsh light on and put it under the rack and turned the lights out in the snake room and went back in about 30 minutes later and it came out and was in themiddle of the room. And before someone asks i couldnt just move the rack cause that rack was huge and had 2 inch legs not caster wheels.

Okay, the bottom of the table is made out of padded mesh so I thought I could just tear or cut that off. Found out that the area she is in is made of solid, hollow, plastic. There is no way to take it apart so I'm forced to wait for her to come out on her own. Taking the advise given I placed the entire table in her viv. She's the most comfortable there, familiar smells, favorite hide, etc... and I can secure her inside. Turned the heat lamp on over her hide and now I'll wait. If she doesn't come out in the next couple of hours I'll try the mouse idea. If that doesn't work then what? OMG! I can't believe how scared I am that she's trapped and who knows what kind of dirt and dust is in there.

I wouldnt worry bout dirt and dust. In the wild they live underground in termite mounds. She will be fine

it's lunch time here and she still has not come out but she's probably asleep so I'm going to keep waiting. I'm going to offer food this evening when she gets more active. Until then I'm focusing on keeping myself calm. lol
