    Rack Wiring Question
So im rewireing my rack, and how can i wire the flexwatt so the connection wires dont touch the tub preventing it from sliding in and out as smoothely as possible? The rack is a 28 Qt rack, and its completely enclosed. Thats just a problem id like to fix now when i redo my rack. Thanks in advance.

I can't visualize what exactly you're talking about. Why can't the flexwatt touch the tubs? Can you provide pics of your rack?

    Re: Rack Wiring Question
ill get up pics if i can, but its an enclosed melamine rack with no open sides. and i want the flexwatt to touch the tubs, its just the wire connected to the flexwatt (the part to plug it into the thermostat). I know im being really confusing :rolleye2:, but i got my problem fixed lol thanks for trying to help :)

This is how my cages are set up, by allowing the flexwatt to extend out behind the cages the wiring doesn't interfere.

I would just leave a slot in the back of the rack to let the flexwatt out the back.

Thats alot of wires! I get my best friend to do my wiring, he is an electrical engineer. It looks nice and pretty. Anyways he solders the wires and then uses tape to tape the flexwatt in place and goes over the wires as well. Works wonderfully and tubs never snag anywhere.

I'm an electrical engineer myself, and I have soldered some of mine, but when I purchased my cages from AP they came with prewired flexwatt so I didn't see any point in changing it.

I have a special sensor system that I use to control my humidifiers that are piped into each cage. So that adds a good number of wires lol

I also recently added another cage to my stack so I need to reorganize everything
