    killer bees??
Hey just curious but if you breed a super pastel to a spider you should be have a chance at getting killer bees out of that clutch correct? I did this on the genetic wizard and it came out 50/50 pastel bumble bee... But the genetics under a killer bee say super pastel spider.

Also why wouldn't you have a chance at getting spiders out of the clutch... I am quite confused feel free to chime in :)

Both parents need the pastel gene to make killerbees..since its a super pastel all babies will atleast have the pastel gene. So you either get pastels or bumblebees.

Nope to produce a Killerbee you need to breed a Bumblebee to either a pastel or super pastel :gj:

    Yep, what they said.

The Super Pastel cannot throw both Pastel genes, only one at a time. Nice thing is you get no Normals.

Thanks guys. Still curious as to why there's no possibility for spiders??

Because one parent is giving the pastel gene and the other gives either the spider or normal gene. To produce a spider it would have to have a spider and a normal gene. But the super pastel has no normal gene to give. All it can give is the pastel gene. So you would get either pastels (pastel gene/normal gene) or bees (pastel gene/spider gene).
    Does that help?

When you are breeding a super form of anything, all the offspring will have the components of the super in them. Breeding your super pastel to a normal will result in all pastel offspring. An ivory male to a normal will yield all yellowbellies. An so on and so on. Besides, producing bumblebees is better than producing regular spiders anyways. Hope this helped, good luck.

1 gene per trait comes from each parent. The super pastel can only give 1 pastel gene, and the spider is normal for pastel.
