Should I worry if my bp doesn't shed?
Okay so I've had Baloo for almost 3 months now and she still has not shed. Before you ask, yes, I have watched the temps and humidity. Ambien temp is 79-80F. Thermostat is set at 88F and the humidity stays between 60-65%. The viv is insulated, I have a UTH and have a small bowl of water kept over the heat pad to maintain humidity. She is sweet and friendly, eats well, and shows no sign of illness but still has not shed. Should I be worried?

I wouldnt worry, they can shed a month after they have just shed or they can go months. I would only worry if he went through all the shed phases and then did not shed and his skin started to shrink wrap him (in that case you would need to soak him in a tube of water to help him get the skin off). He will shed when he needs to. I wouldnt worry.

Some grow faster and some grow slower, you cant really put a time frame on sheds. Ive had younger ones shed every 2 months and every month, I have 4 year olds that shed every month and a half and some go 3 months, it just depends on the snake. You'll know when your snake is about to shed, they will look bluish and have clouded over eyes then they will go back to normal looking and shed, this can take a couple days or a couple weeks depending on the snake. If your snake is well hydrated and the humidity is fine you shouldnt have any problems, worst that could happen is he will have some stuck shed in which case you can just soak him for a 5-10 minutes and it will come off.
