    Cage size question
The hatchling BP I got in Oct. is doing fantastic! He's eating every 5-7 days and had shed a few times with no problems :) I am looking to upgrade his tank and have narrowed the choices down to 2. I am looking at the 36x28x18 Vision cages or 36x24x12 or even the 48x24x12(since it's on sale) Animal plastics cage. Which one would be better? Thanx

I have 4 animal plastics T8's. I love them and highly recommend them, and I can answer any questions you have.

I also have several of the AP T8's. Great cages and a good value currently.

They have been on sale for a long time, hopefully they will stay that way as I will be purchasing more this summer along with an incubator and a hatchling rack from them

Do the animal plastics cages come with an area to place lights on top or do you order those seperatly?(Some of the pictures show screen circles, some do not)

those cost extra, but I would highly recommend ordering it with Flexwatt. (unless you don't already have or want to purchase a thermostat.

I have one with 2 screens for heat lamps, and I link that one too.

It's worth purchasing the lights from AP as they will drill the holes and install the mounting screws you will need. You might save 5$ by purchasing your own fully enclosed florescent light and installing it. But the way they router the top to hide the cabling is very nice.

If you meant heat lights they just cut an area and install a screen for you to place your heat lamps. Although in the AP I really recommend an RHP, with flexwatt.

Did you guys get locks for your cage doors? I'm getting the sliding doors and was wondering if the locks are really necessary.
