Whats the oldest a Emerald girl can breed???
    Hey guys.
In the title really. Just curious as to the latest a emerald basin female can breed. I know they breed at 4/5 years old.
Ive been offered a 2001 basin female who is captive bred and has never even been paired up before. She is just over 2000grams in weight also.

Ive been told by a couple of breeders that she is a good age for breeding.
Just wanted a few more opinions before getting her.

    Cheers,
    Lawrence.

I would think she is fine for breeding. The real issue would be if she had been breeding for the last 7 years. As long as she is a virgin, she should be good to go.
