sorry not sure where to post this so i can't get the temps in my rack right i just can't get it high enough in that room of my apartment using just Undertank heaters in the rack. so what is the style of space heater that can be on the longest and hopefully uses a smaller amount of electricity and i was curious if something like this would work well http://www.walmart.com/ip/LifeSmart-...White/17337512 the room is 18'x8' feet and 8 feet tall if you need that info

I'd use an oil filled heater. That's what most people use

What you need is a heater that is safe get a oil filled heater (around $40) and get a ranco thermostat wired for oil filled heater, do not rely on the internal heater t-stat they are usually the thing that go wrong.

I use a Lasko ceramic tower heater. I leave it on all the time, and it has a thermostat that you set. It turns on when it drops below your temp and turns off a little above your temp. My apartment doesnt have centralized air but even thought its freezing outside and in my living room, my bedroom stays nice and toasty! I definitely recommend them.

I use a DeLonghi space heater I picked up from Lowes and it keeps my snake room at the perfect temp (I live in Michigan so it gets pretty cold).
