    A question about BELs
Ok, if you have a super butter, you have a Bel that produces all Butters when bred to a normal. if you have a mojave x butter Bel, are the babies guarenteed to be anything in particular or could you end up with normals?

    You'd get normals.

Because the butter and mojave genes are on the same allele you cannot get a normal from that pairing.

    See Above!!

P.S. Super stripes are the same way you don't get notmals or super stripes with they are bred to a normal..let that one sink in for a bit.. ;)

No sir we all dont hate ball python genetics.... I love it... I like ball pythons, but I love the genetics of it. So simply complicated and beautiful..... The spector, puma and het highway are just allelic with yb.... kinda like mystic/phantom and crystal are allelic to the other blue eyed lucy genes, and just have a different effect on the other mutation.... I am looking forward to someone breeding a vanilla cream to something else (if it hasnt been done already) to see if normals are produced.

simply put I like ball pythons for the genetics, but love the personality of my superdwarf retics and boas better......( I do like their bashful little personalities 2 though)

I think I had read somewhere that if a vanilla creme is bred to a normal you only get vanillas and fires. I wish I could remember where I found that.
