    Temporary heating.
Mid-Febuary I will be moving my ksb into a large plastic "Kritter Keeper" while she is still young and fits into it. What is the best way to heat it? I've got UTH on my other large glass tanks but since this is only temporary (1 or 2 months at most) I didnt want to get the usual Zoo Med UTH because it says to not remove them once they're stuck to a tank so I was wondering what could be used instead.

Simple - Tape the UTH to the bottom with foil or duct tape instead of peeling the backing off of it.

You can use flexwatt or you could just leave the thing on the uth. It wont get hot enough to start a fire bc you'll be using a t-stat to monitor the heat.

Agreed. But I would go with the Ultratherm instead of ZooMed - especially since those kritter keepers are plastic. True, you'd be using a t-stat, but the Ultratherms are safer. I won't ever go back to the ZooMed ones now that I've discovered the Ultratherm. You can them from Reptile Basics. Wonderful product! :gj:
