Personally, unless the Pastel was super high quality and from a very well-known breeder, I wouldn't pay more than $75.

Not much of a pic to decide from but I wouldn't buy it from what I see unless its het for something.

If its a male not more than $75 if its a female not more than $150. You can get better quality elsewhere.

A pet store is generally not the place to look for fair prices.

    He is cute.

$150 is a bit much, especially for a young male. You could try to talk them down, in a roundabout sort of way.

You know, I really like him, but he's a little more than what I wanted to spend sort of thing. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Will you need to pay shipping on him ? If so, I would shop around a bit more. You can find some really nice pastel males for less if you look.

If he's local, then you have a much better shot at negotiating the price.

I'd save my money and look elsewhere, I think. If you're wanting him/her for breeding, you could do a LOT better in the looks department than what that one is. If it's strictly as a pet, then your call as to what you'd want to look at every time you open the tub/tank, lol! Your money, after all, but $150 for that particular animal? I'd pass.
