    Government Sites hacked
Anyone else notice how some of the Stop Python Ban Petitions on whitehosue.gov would not load, then load, then not load.

Or how Facebook back in Nov. Crashed.

A group called Anonymous is behind them. They are a group brought together to stand up against the Government and their extreme power they think they have.

They recently like i said Hacked MANY GOV. sites past 2 days, to prove a point about SOPA and PIPA.

We need to get them on our side for this python ban. They have millions of followers world wide.

While I have no love for the way our government is taking away our rights, our founding fathers gave us the process to change it. Unlawful attacks will do nothing to further our cause and could hurt more than help.

The government do the same as well without your knowledge on your computer. If they wanted they can log in and watch your every move. This group puts them in check saying we can do the same...

To have them on out side helping pythons will help. No need for them to attack anyone, with their huge following could get more attention to our hobby in a good sense.

If there were a way to get them to help thatd be awesome. Alot of people, at least my friends, are really starting to realize that the whole SOPA thing is actually legit. When they saw google, wikipedia, craigslist, etc. all blacked out the other day it rattled their brains a bit lol. I highly doubt there are alot of people supporting SOPA, the president said he doesnt even approve of it, so getting Anonymous familiar with the python ban situation seems like a good idea.

*My point of all that was I believe Anonymous will be more positive/popular than SOPA; therefore, associating our hobby with something positive would be a good thing.

Actually. There is a website that they use for people to sign and give the group someone to target. If enough balance and checks are given to them. and the group does see that as a violation of our right. Then they might help.

    Either way.

What they do is illegal and would only tarnish the hobby and give the other side more ammunition to use against us.

I don't feel this website is a suitable place for this discussion.
