I found the perfect girl for Corwin
As you may or may not know I've been looking for a girl to pair with my male Corwin for some time. After talking back and fourth with a member over at Pangea forums I've decided to take the plunge and snatch up this BEAUTIFUL girl. She is currently 30 grams and loves to eat her dubia. I have a hopeful plan to breed her this spring, we will see...

Here are some pictures I received that go directly to a photobucket of her fired up:

AND...here are some pictures of her fired down. I really can't decide if I like her fired up or down more, she is stunning.

For those of you that don't know or remember this will be the lucky stud, Corwin.

Let me know what you all think of the future pairing plans.

The Rhacodactylus section doesn't get the love that it should. :P

She's a very pretty girl. Is she considered a red? It doesn't look like she fires up that dark. I don't know much about crested gecko morphs, but I have seen a few reds in person and I know they look pinkish like she does fired down.

And Corwin has some amazing crests. I think you will get some pretty babies from them. :gj:

sign me up for any of their offspring you don't hold back. cresteds and leachianus are the only geckos I'll ever keep and you have an excellent pair there. hope you keep the thread updated when you receive the female.

Thanks, if you look above the pictures that show up I provided links to her fired up. (Maybe you didn't click the links) She isn't your typical red, which I love about her. There really isn't any definitive morphs like ball pythons, it's all up to interpretation. When I look at her fired up or down I see more red and pink than anything else, so I'd call her a red. She has A TON of pinstriping, so I just call her a red pinstripe. She has just enough red, yet she has that beautiful creamy dorsal with what seems to be at least 90% or more pinstripe that I've been searching for which seems like forever to pair with Corwin.

I can't wait to see what they produce!

If you look at the Rhac section, it seems like I post on here almost more than anyone. I love these creatures, I also keep leachies, as well as E. Agricolae (they are like mini leachies). I will keep you in mind for offspring as well as post all the updates. Thanks for the kind words!

Thanks! Crested morphs and patterns are pretty simple to pick out after you know what to look for. When I started and had ZERO clue what to look for this site really helped out with morphs, patterns, and understanding good/bad structure: http://www.pangeareptile.com/forums/...ko-Morph-Guide
