Plastic deli cups for water bowls... what about steel sauce cups?

Was wandering amazon just to "shop around" and came across these. I was wondering if they'd be suitable for leopard geckos, or any reptile really? It says they have smooth edges so cuts shouldn't be a problem... I just thought it would be more environmentally friendly than the many plastic cups I have to throw out every other day :D

It should work, the one advantage of the plastic deli cups is that you don't have to clean them, just replace them. If you have a small collection it is no big deal to clean water dishes, but if you have 50, 100, 1,000, etc. then it becomes a serious issue to have to clean out that many water dishes.

Yeah, I just use ceramic bowls, we don't have many reptiles so it's not too big of a deal. :)

I'm a geek, I'd have to put all those deli cups in my recycling bin!

Hey, have you tried tee cup candle light holders? you can get a few of em for like a few bucks. They are glass so they are heavy and they cant tip them over. Looks pretty classy too :P
