    Getting a SD Retic!!!
So I have wanted one of these for a long time and finally got motivated to get one. This animal was originally purchased from Travis Kubes and i am buying him from a breeder I deal with quite often. I am told she should max out between 7-8 feet long. She is just under 4' now. We are picking her up at the Pttsburgh Reptile Show on Sunday. i will post pics once she is home!

Can anyone offer some additional information on the Travis Kubes line SD Retic? This will be my first time owning a Retic, so I am thrilled and super excited!

I have a male that I got from Travis during the christmas break. I absolutely love him. He is about 75g and maybe almost 2 feet. Has never shown any sign of aggression , he is incredibly inquisitive and he eats without thinking. Travis told me the father was around 5 foot and the mom 7, so 7 sounds about right for your female. Congrats and please post pictures when you get her!:P

Thanks! I just got back from the Pittsburgh show about an hour ago with her! She is incredible, but we both had a LONG day, so I am going to hold off on pics. It was about a 7 hour round trip. I'll post some pics up as soon as she settles in!

I have two from him as well. They are sweethearts, but young still, and a bit skittish. Count on hook training--they will come out to eat you when you open the bin, lol.
They're fine once they are in hand.

I have had my male freak out and start fleeing a few times, though, but I don't handle them as much as I should.

She took a meal for me last night and has an intense feeding response... Like nothing I have seen. She actually started coming out of the tub to take the rodent before i was ready to give it to her. Thank god for tongs! :O

Yeah, Ive had my little male snatch a pinky put of my hand before I can set it down. Their feeding response is as advertised lol.
