Sort of visible feeding video (and some pictures)
Yesterday was feeding day for Kaa. I tried to catch a video, but he refuses to eat in the light, so I had to work with the moon bulb that I have for him. You can still kinda see what's going on.

I also snagged some pictures while he was roaming the room.

He decided he wanted to take cover in my warm slippers. :D

I absolutely love this snake. I have the fever. I NEED MORE!

The more you fatten him up, the less he will care about the light. I know mine was shy in the light at first, but once I established the 4 day feeding schedule, she will eat under any conditions and I pretty much never see her, lol. Dark, light, noisy, quiet, bombs going off outside...she will eat regardless. Good Lord, I have made my snake fat and lazy :D

And yeah, I have the fever too...as soon as mine reached the 1200-1400g mark, I plan on finding an albino male for her to make some het offspring and then experiment from there. At the rate she's going at right now, she won't be able to fit into her hides soon enough, hah.

Also, cute slipper pics. I should just throw a couple of those in my tank for cheap, Family Dollar husbandry, lol.

Thanks! Yeah, he has his days where he'll eat right in front of you, but the past two feedings have been in the dark. He's been more laid back, though. A lot less jerking away when I change his water. I think he's becoming settled in.

There's a high-quality video of him taking a mouse down. First time I've gotten to witness a full feeding from him. :D
