Picked me up a little crestie tonight!
My 1st gecko! He (actually have no idea on the gender yet so "he" will be referred to as "he" until I know differently) is a color changing fool! The 1st pic is one the breeder sent me then the next 2 are ones from my phone. Can't wait to watch this lil guy grow up!!

Very nice looking flame, "he" looks like he has both red and black dalmatian spots as well. Congrats, they are addicting!

Awww, so cute - congrats!! I've been wanting a crestie myself, but just trying to hold off for a while.

    Congrats!
I love how often they change colors.
My friend has 2. They're always a bright orange in their enclosure, but the moment you take them out, they turn dark brown.

Very nice looking Crested! It does appear to have red and black dalmatian spots- it's a real stunner! Once they get exposed to light, they do seem to "fire down" very quickly. I guess they enjoy light about as much as a Mogwai (yes, I just broke out a Gremlins reference). Dusting feeder insects with Repashy SuperPig every once and awhile really seems to bring out their colors though (Crested Gecko MRP contains 4% SuperPig already). I use it with all of my Rhacodactylus, Phelsuma, and Goniurosaurus and I am pleased with the results.

"He" is beautiful! I have recently caught Crestie fever and I was eyeing one that Ben Seigel was auctioning last night...I was so tempted...

Congrats on that little beauty! :gj:
