    Hi im new here just needed some questions? Answered and all the help
    first what lighting is good for a normal ball python at night i dont actually use any but have a red bulb 60 watts and sometimes ill turn it on when its cold in my apt. And they decide to cut off the heat..just wanted to know cause i hear from everyone it stresses them out blah blah so if you could help thanks...second what is the best temp to have the hot side and cool side??thanks for all the help

    If you really need supplemental heat, you can get a ceramic heat emitter, which looks like a flat, opaque bulb, but does not emit any light to disturb your BP. Fair warning, any overhead bulbs can drop your humidity if you don't mist enough.
