Becoming part of the pokie club now!

So I was telling myself I wouldn't get any more inverts until after I moved out...

...I was lying to myself. Went to visit Amanda from Tarantula Canada today with Alex.B, and came home with a Poecilotheria regalis, I'd give it maybe a 2" legspan. :banana:

(sorry it's a really bad pic. Every time I touch the container it just goes to huddle on the bottom so I can't get a good shot)

Beautiful pickup, they definitely have one of the nastier bites for tarantulas, caution is advised! :D

IT'S ABOUT TIME!!! Lol, congrats on the new T. Wife and I were going to hold off until our daughter got a bit older. But now we have 7. 2 Regalis, 3 P. Metallica and 2 Pedersini. The regalis are beautiful when they get bigger.

Thanks! And yeah, the plan is "Just don't get bitten" :P after seeing RobC's bite report video from a female not much bigger than mine, it doesn't sound like a walk in the park :P

Lol I know! And thank you :) haha I've already got dibs on a sling or two from Jon3800 (if you know of him from youtube/AB) when he pulls his regalis sac :rolleyes: aaand I still want a subfusca and bara, so I don't expect to be quitting the club anytime soon :P

Ahh, p. Regalis are my fav. I can't have one while living here with my parents because they don't want that type of venom and speed in the house. one day I will have my dream T. Haha
