Stuck Shed Under Chin

My lesser girl has some pretty bad stuck shed under her chin. When I first got her, she had a solid sheet of stuck shed from neck to tail that I had to work away, but she is way too head frantic to let me work at her chin. I don't want to disturb her for a picture right now because I just fed her last night, but to paint a picture, the stuck shed spans the entirety of her chin and nothing more.

Should this be a big concern for me to get off, or will she be able to get it off on the next shed? Shes 160~ grams and has eaten 7-8 times for me

You can just wait for it to come off with the next shed if doesn't seem to be bothering her. I just picked up a female normal from someone on craigslist and let me tell you, this poor girl has stuck shed from head to tail and I am going to soak her today.

Yeah, chins are harmless, and they're also impossible. You really only need to worry about stuck shed on the eyes and tail tip. If those are clear, everything else is just cosmetic.

Chins are especially hard because that's where the scales are all stretchy to allow for eating rodents whole. My het lav female used to have terrible sheds: I'd soak her in the bathtub, and pick at her chin, and then soak her some more. She wound up with a pink angry chin, and I wound up with a snake that was suddenly very head-shy. After a couple of those episodes, I decided to just leave it alone.

And actually, I think leaving a little stuck shed in an annoying-but-harmless place like that might encourage a better shed the next time. Though now I try to guarantee better sheds by sticking all my problem animals into tubs instead of tanks whenever they're in the blue, and then dumping a bit of water on the aspen chips...
