    Moss for humid hide?
I'm thinking I should put humid hides in with my blood pythons, but I don't know which kind of mosses are safe.

I'd probably get it from here: http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog/...plies/bedding/ but I don't know what kind to get. They have New Zealand sphagnum, and they have green sphagnum.. which is a lot cheaper. Is it not good to use?

Also.. how much do I put in the humid hide.. and how often to I change it?

Go to the swap, and get the $8 bag of chilean high grade spaghnum moss from the dart frog guy. That way you'll get moss that isn't full of bark and twigs and other crap. He also mentioned try looking for orchid moss.
