    Plastic Rack Question
I was planning on getting rid of my melamine racks because they are all dirty, and bulky. I wanted to build some new racks out of pvc lumber as a frame and i was thinking about using this

    or this

for shelves do to how expensive PVC would be. What do you guys think? im leaning more towards the first one, but would it be enough to hold up 600-2000g snakes in their tubs? Thanks in advance

They use that stuff on some cubicles and moveable walls. it would be fine as covering but needs a frame under it. Check out this site.

The first two links NO coreplast is corrugated cardboard made of plastic and is used for signage the other I believe is ceiling tile material. Every plastic rack out there uses the same material (many of the custom enclosures too) PVCx (expanded pvc sheet usually in 3/8 + for racks anyway) It can be glued with special adhesive (solvent cements) but can be worked like wood and most mechanical fasteners will work on it too. There is no need to re-invent the wheel.
