    Any opinions on this??
So i was having issues with not enough humidity (cold dry winter here) in my tub 31qt and kinda used this idea from some one on this fourm but he/she used it on a glass tank with a screen on top but i applied it to a tub and seems to work fine, i just paper clipped(ones that actually hold clip) a towel and soak it in warm water and get it just damp enough were it wont drip water and pull it across half the tank and been doing this for 3 days now and have a steady humidity around 72.

Why not just close off some of the holes on your tub? If that doesn't work then perhaps your tub is too large. If you have a proper heating source you can place the water bowl over it and it should fix your humidity. Just some thoughts...

I agree, moving the water bowl over the heat source works great!

Your entire heat source is a 65 watt bulb? Perhaps I didn't understand properly.

Ok! Thanks for clarifying :) Move the waterbowl above the heating pad. Also try taping over the outside of some of the holes. You should be able to fix the humidy this way.
