Aberrant Suri BCC quick pic
She's getting harder to take pictures of but here's a quick pic taken the other day during cage cleaning. Over 5ft now and just getting more colorful with age. Still has the sweetest temperament too. She never strikes at anything coming into her cage. She's such a good girl :)

They get larger.
Have a more rectangular shaped body.
Less saddles than the average BCI. Usually 13-14.
Saddles are usually peaked. They look more like this { } { } whereas BCI saddles look more like this ( ) ( ).
The saddles are also often connected by a line running along either side.
The head is larger, longer, and more arrow shaped than BCI.
They have "eyelash" markings above the eyes.
The tail is actually red or burgundy outlined in white whereas Colombian red tails don't actually have a red colored tail.
Everything from the pattern to the color to the size and shape of the snake can tell you if it's a BCC. Especially the head..
There is a breeder selling boas right now that are half BCC and half BCI. They have the pattern of a BCC with 13 peaked saddles but the short, stubby head/nose of a BCI.
If you get one, be sure get one from a reputable source and ask the breeder if it's a pure BCC.
Probably the coolest thing I've noticed about mine is the fast and drastic color changes. Certain locale boas can change color and "fire up" similar to a beardie or gecko. This ones pinks turn so bright and deep when I take her out it's amazing. Even her face turns pink.
Everyone wants peaks, peaks, peaks! Not me... I picked her out for her connected peaks and crazy pattern plus all the pink and other colors in her. Oh and that blood red tail is to die for :)
Thank you so much! I really appreciate all your help. I am also wondering how big a male BCI would get. I LOVE red tails but I dont know if I am ready for a 8-10 foot snake yet. So I would like to stick to the smallest form of a red tail I can get.
