Accidentally Converted to F/T
So my spider female, to make a long story shorter, has never been interested in anything but live prey. I've had her since she was a small hatchling, and have tried pretty much everything ever written about getting ball pythons to switch. I tried scenting, exposing the brain, piggybacking, EVERYTHING. After a while I just gave up, and resigned myself to breeding rats so that I would always have live on hand.
She and my albino girl have both been fasting, just because they're both at that fun size where they're almost ready for breeding, but not quite.
I thawed out a little mouse to try today, since I don't have any live on hand and mice are a bit stinkier than rats, so I thought it might entice the albino. The albino refused, so I offer this little F/T mouse to the spider girl, just for kicks I guess. She snaps it up like she's STARVING, and I'm not sure whether to :rage: or to :D over it.
Maybe I'll just  hysterically. Oh, the irony!

Lol yes. And I've been cut open by the teeth too. Who knew?! Just scrub it really well with Dial. Just in case.

I feel for your pain of course, nothing funny about that. Just... F/T rodents causing damage, only happens to us humans  All prepped and nice by the time the snakes get 'em!
