Is the last one on sand of some sort? I don't remember why or where but I've heard it's not good for BP's to be kept on sand. They all look nice though :)

its crushed walnut and he loves it, i used it for my corns and its awesome but hard to find

You might want to do a little research on the walnut. I used it for a display tank for a madagascan hognose. It really dried him out. I did a little research and it seems it can cause a decent range of issues.

Good looking snakes. :gj: Yeah, to aalomon's point... They do like the walnut, because it warms up nicely, and then they bury themselves in it. Good odor control too. But it really sucks out moisture. I use it as litter in my Grey's cage for that very reason. I wouldn't suggest it for snakes because it can dry them out.

As for the comments people are leaving, a lot of us have been in the hobby and have done the "been there done that" sort of thing because we all thought we knew what was best in the beginning. Newspaper/paper, paper towels, and aspen are generally accepted as safe bedding by just about anyone in the hobby. I would stick with those sort of things. And remember, ball pythons are fairly different than corns when it comes to husbandry.

well he hasn't had a problem yet and i mist the cage twice a day but im still thinking im going to switch to aspen or newspaper

I use aspen and I love it. Easy to clean up. Easy humidity/temperature control. And my girl loves to burrow and crawl through it.

I've currently got my guy on aspen as well. Doesn't cost much, but it doesn't look cheap. Plus it's easy to find. However, I'm more than likely going to switch over to coconut husk soon so I only have to buy one kind of bedding when I go to the store (I use the coco husk for my cresties, and since it works for BP's I don't see why not. I like the smell :oops: )

le edit: Forgot to mention that Koga will move the aspen all over his tank. It's completely bare in some spots, and piled up in others. So if your snakes like to burrow, aspen is the way to go.

Congrats on the new projects. Caramel Glows are something I've wanted to begin working on for a long time, such a beautiful combo.
