    Everything WAS perfect :(
I haven't been on here in a while, reason being is that I lost Oaks :( I am VERY discouraged now and haven't been doing my usual stuff that is related to BP's, i.e coming on this forum, going on youtube to watch some breeders, reading up on them, etc. I am also very angry with the breeder I got him from, but if you check out a previous post on this forum about when, where and who I got it from you will know.
I HAD alot of respect for this person until he started to ignore my emails. This person wasn't at the last show he said he would be at for reasons I won't get into. I wanted to ask this person if they had any problems with any of their other snakes because I had everything correct and he even fed about 3 times after I had him.
He was going into the shed cycle and never got a chance to complete it because I found him with his neck and head upside down with some blood near it. I can't get any answers anywhere especially from the breeder. I though for sure they would have discussed some details with me.
Like I said, I HAD alot of respect for this person. They were very knowledgeable about their passion. I don't know what webt wrong...

I'm so sorry for your loss :tears: How long have you had this snake? Also, if you don't mind me asking, who was this breeder you got him from? Did you have a necropsy done?

Had him for almost 4 weeks. No necropsy done. Breeder was Samy Hamza. I said great things about him in a previous post. I would have never though in a million years he would have ignored me like this. I didn't want to mention his name, but everyone would have know anyway from my previous post where I got him from so...

That's sad, he wasn't showing any signs of any issues before he died? I would have gotten a necropsy done, that way you could know for sure what the problem was :(

No signs of anything at all. He even fed 3 or 4 times while I had him. You think I can still get a necropsy done. I still have him in the freezer since the day he passed in case I had to bring him to the next show to show the breeder.

More than likely if he had some sort of disease or virus the freezer killed it and a necropsy probably won't help. If it was another reason though you may be able to figure something out. Who knows, worse comes to worse it's unfounded, best case scenario you find out what killed him :(

I'll probably just let it go. Thanks for the input. I appreciate you responding to me to try and shed some light on the issue. Thanks again!!

Sorry for your loss...anyway, I agree with LGray23 that you should have a necropsy done. Just letting it go may not be the best route to go. Try to put yourself in the breeder's shoes...what would you do if you sold a seemingly healthy snake, it ate 3-4 times in that person's possession, and then just died? Tough spot to put the guy in, IMO. If you want to hold a grudge against Samy Hamza, you should follow proper procedure to make sure you're blaming the right person.
