    o.0 Can It Be?!
So - A few days ago I posted this thread - Bare with me - I'm a little excited

I illustrated the first hour or so of the first pairing I have ever done, and as far as I know - the first pairing for both these snakes.

WELL. I went to take Icky out, for his resting period annnnnd....

Is this what I think it is?!

I'm fairly sure that they are locked, but I want to know what you guys think - I'm so new to breeding that I guess I just need affirmation or something - before I get more excited than I already am.

It looks like he's working his way under her tail, so it's an almost! I'd leave him one more night to see if he finishes sweet-talking her. ;)

They've already been together for 3 days - but this is the first "maybe" I've seen. I'm assuming it wouldn't hurt to leave him till tomorrow afternoon/whenever they come apart?

Thanks Mr. Spooky - I'm so new to this, I have yet to acquire a trained eye for this - even after looking at tons of lock pics from members here.

It won't do any harm to leave him one more night. You can give him an extra night off, as well, if you're concerned.

some say 3 days on and a few days off when pairing their snakes, and i follow something like that SOME TIMES,,,, but only if the two are active. iv left 2 snakes together for over a week and even skiping meals. some take longer than others. if you dont see anything in 8/9 days , seperate , wait a few days, offer food. if they eat, wait a couple of days,, and then put them back together... everybody does things different. as we speek, i have 6 pairs locked...
youll def know when their locked,, the tails wont be just touching, thell be bottom to bottom.

Looks like the male may be trying to line things up, but maybe the female isn't having it.

Which is completely backwards from the way they were acting when I first put them together. Sable was looking at Icky like he was a raw steak, and Icky was looking at me like a scared child, it was so adorable.

Thanks guys! I really appreciate it. :)
