ease of getting into water bowl in tub
so i got tired of my giant fish tank, and gave in to a 41qt sterilite, the new water bowl i bought has about 1.5 inches of space from top of bowl to cieling. i just wondering if i should use one that will be easier for him to get into if he wishes, or if he'll be fine with a slight squeeze

1.5" isn't much. I'd return the bowl and get a shorter one, especially if he's still growing. There's a chance that squeezing between the lid and bowl could be A) used for leverage to pop the lid open, or B) allow him to injure and scrape off scales along his spine.
