    Pairing while in shed???
I have 2 pairs that I have been paring since October. But now I have 1 male from one of my pairs and a female from my other that are in deep shed. I pair them on Tuesdays and separate on Fridays. Should I still pair them while in shed or wait until they are done?

I'd wait until they are done. My Lesser Bee locked up with what I consider a normal female, after I separated them, she went into shed. I waited until she shed before I paired another male. I've seen pictures of snakes in shed still locking up, but its just 4-5 days until they shed once they get into that deep blue stage.

I would think that during shed you would want to hold off but hopefully someone who knows can tell you for sure.

a bunch of females are more likely to lock while in shed, whilst males are the opposite. how often are you pairing them?

When in shed is definitely the best time to pair them! When the male is in shed this is not so but myself and others on here have had very good success with getting locks while the female is in shed. I find so far that they are more prone to locks actually.

I'm going to say first of all, I "attempted" to breed but never got the chance for my female to be fertilized... And Mine locked with my male a few times in shed and only once that i saw when she wasn't. I've read a few times that females are better to breed while in shed!

a female in shed i pair up but a male in shed has always been worthless in the breeding department. I find females in shed like to get it in so to speak where the males want nothing to do with the females
