Carpet python going into shed

So my carpet python turned blue today. I've searched the net but couldn't find anything conclusive. Should I expect the shed cycle to play out similarly to my ball python's?

I've got the humidity up to 70%-80% up from my normal 60%. Is this enough?

Yes, it will be similar, they'll clear up and then shed over the course of 3-7 days.

That is plenty of humidity. One of the biggest myths about carpets is that they require high humidity 24/7 year round. Mine experience humidity as low as 30% in winter, I don't boost for shedding purposes, and I always have 100% good sheds with full shed intact. Of course that isn't to say that 60% isn't just fine, or that boosting to 70% temporarily is harmful.

Carpets seem to shed pretty well most of the time, from what iv read and seen. MY carpet sheds perfectly all the time, and a lot of times i dont spray his tank.
