    Finally Got a BP!
Well today at the local pet store at which I work at, I decided it was time. We keep her at the shop, but I take care of her COMPLETELY! She's about 20" right now! She's just a normal but I'm ok with that :) She's on hoppers once a week.
    Now I have a question.
She's in a 10g tank (NOT permanently!), with cypress mulch. She has a UTH and a CHE. No lighting. Is that ok?
BTW: She's going in a 40 breeder when she gets larger. I'd put her in a tub put its in the store and people are going to want to see her. ( She's our mascot :P )

My only concern would be humidity issues, but it's an easy fix with all the DIY threads and such on here showing different methods of dealing with it

I would get a thermostat for your UTH.

Yeah I was worried about that too... I'll put tin foil on the top. And all the herps get misted like 3-4 times a day.

Oh sorry! She doesn't have a UTH right now! Will she be ok without it?

Do you know what the temps are on the warm and cool side? A CHE will be fine IF it can keep the temps in range. You will most likely need a thermostat on the CHE to keep the temps in range.

She will be fine without light, they are nocturnal so not having light does not affect their health.

Not sure what the temps are. I can check tom. And I thought just a CHE would be fine because it never drops below 75F in there. Even at night.

I would get a UTH and a thermostat for her (or at least a dimmer), but I'm biased and like my belly heat for my snakes. CHEs will suck any humidity you have in the tank.

I would also pick up a thermometer (I like digital ones, I haven't had luck with those stick on ones that are in pet stores) for her temps as well as a heat gun for direct surface temps (as in on top of the heat score). A thermometer with a probe on the hot spot would be fine as well if you don't get an ambient temp thermometer.

Also give her lots of stuff to hide in so she feels secure: she may not be able to be see much but she'll be happier for it.
