    CT taxes rant
As some people on here.may know, I live.in MA and work in CT. Today I get into work and open my check, 0 dollars. CT took well over 1,000 bucks for taxes. My entire check went to the state and I don't even live here!! So after a lot if phone calls the only thing I was told was to file my MA taxes and hope for the best. This is a bunch of bull! Anybody else in CT gettin jerked around?

CT is the most expensive state to live in so we probably have the highest taxes too, but idk?
I get the most taken out of my paycheck so that way I dont owe money at the end of the year and that is 19% of my pay.
Idk if that helps at all lol...

I had to pay $25,000 toward taxes on December 1st. It sucked.

    Chris,

What you experienced happened to quite a few people last week in CT and it was on the news. Entire companies had employees with $0 paychecks. It was supposedly an issue with the systems and that was why there was such a huge difference in the taxes. I thought that had been resolved and fortunately for me, it did not impact my check last week.

And no matter what they say..... you never seem to get it all back after you file your taxes. :(
