Does anyone run lights in their racks
I decided to hook up some lights in my rack not for heat but just to give them a better sense of day and night. I figured my thermostat had the capabilities so why not. Just wondering if anybody else has done this.

Do you have hides in your tubs? With BPs being nocturnal and underground dwellers, it seems to me that this lighting would be stressful to them, even in the daytime, because they would not feel hidden.

x2, hides would need to be supplied, or they could be really stressed out, like to the max,

I have not heard of this myself. I agree hides might not be a bad idea. There is some debate about the value of UVA and UVB light. There are studies being done about snakes an uv (nocturnal or not) they are not conclusive but questionable. Nocturnal does not mean only comes out after dark it is after the sun touches the horizon there still is light and there is enough field studies to point that royals are often are seen in the late light of the day.
