    Another bite story
I am currently visit my family in NH and I couldn't resist, I had to stop in the local pet store. Their reptile section actually wasn't that bad. I had all of my siblings with me and my youngest sister (she's 7) wanted to hold a snake that wouldn't bite. One of the employees pulled out this beautiful albino rosy boa and said it was one of the nicest they had and he had never seen it bite anyone.

He started talking about how he hasn't been bitten yet and he's dreading it. I tried to tell him it wasn't so bad being bit by one of the smaller snakes (they have an adult carpet python that appearently is aggressive) and that there were two different types of bites. Right around this time I ended up holding the rosy boa (we had all used hand snatizer before touching the snake). I wasn't paying attention to the snake and the next thing I know it's gnawing on the side of my middle finger.

The employee was a little shocked that this snake bit me but I had it coming not paying attention. I'm just glad it bit me and not my sister, she would have freaked instead of waiting for the snake to let go.

Lol..I'm sorry. :) I Love when the little ones bite though. At Tinley I had a little 3 week old albino Burmese bite And latch onto my ring finger. Oddly the seller freaked out along with my fiancée... after about 20 seconds it.let go and wrapped around my hand. :P Why Makes this funnier is that when the seller tried ro take it back it kept attempting to bite him. The little girl didn't want to leave me...LOL.

It Is good though that you got bit and not your little sister. Probably would have scared here half to death! And to add to that, it's good to hear SOME stores take better care of there animals.

I had the same thing happen at my local reptile shop with a Kenyan Sand Boa the couldn't have been 6 inches long I was showing it to a kid who was there( the owner is a friend of mine so I pretty much have free reign of the shop as long as I ask first) and I had just said the thing i like most about Sand Boas is they rarely bite, when the little bugger turned and latched on to my knuckle. I was shocked and the kid was like, "oh cool, it just bit you did it hurt?"

    LOL
