Snake Bite

Hey everyone. I haven't posted in awhile, I usually let the husband take care of that :) but I have a question. About two weeks ago our pinstripe decided I smelled like dinner and bit my left forearm. You could see the teeth marks and a bruise formed but everything went away after about a week. All of a sudden today little red bumps popped up in the exact tooth pattern that was there when I first got bitten. I have NO idea why and I'm a little worried about it. Does anyone know why that would happen?

Sometimes the ball python teeth are so fragile that tiny tiny pieces break off into your skin. Maybe if you didnt thoroughly clean it last week, the teeth might still be in your skin? Otherwise I've got no clue.

Snakes have an anti-coagulant in their bite, and it makes you bleed a bit more than a normal cut or bite. Since you bleed more, it gets rid of all the bacteria and fresh blood then sets on top to scab. This makes it a bit hard for snake bites to become infected, in case you were wondering.

Thanks. I was kind-of thinking that it was broken teeth coming to the surface. We tried to make sure there weren't any in there, but it's definitely possible we missed some. If that is indeed what it is, any idea how to get them out?

This could be really dumb but its worth a shot.... Stick duct tape on where the teeth marks are and peel it off?
