    Ri?
So I took out one of my males today an noticed a whistle when he was breathing. It sounded like if he were stuffy. Now is this an RI? If so how do I treat it? Thanks!

You can't treat a RI. You need antibiotics. Check his mouth though. If You're skittish simply check his teeth by moving his jaw GENTLY...if you see bubbles he has a RI. If not but you hear a poping or a whistle raw him to a vet and have him looked out. Trust me... don't wait till it's to late. Our paste Isilsur has one, and has for 3 months.. if your snake does make sure you get a fecal sown before admistring antibiotics as well.. my reply isn't much help but you'll get many others that are better explained.

You'll need to see a vet and have a culture done to have your snake put on antibiotics. I too agree with checking the mouth for bubbles and/or access mucous

There were no bubbles and he seemed normal. Are RI's contagious?

Yes. If he is making noises while breathing, I would QT him away from your other snakes. He'd have to stay in QT till after he's antibiotics are done.
