How often do they shed?

As the title states, how often do RTBs shed? I have had my little albino for about a month and a half, she has had about 4 meals and has yet to shed. She is young so i figured it would be often like my BPs. I am somewhat puzzled. Thanks

idk exactly how often, but apparently it takes a while, mine was born on 7/9/11, i bought her on 10/15, and she just shed for the first time with me on 12/15, so two months owning her, and now im curious as to when the next time will be

Oh ok so it taking a while is not abnormal. Waiting on her to shed so I can take new pictures of her! She is an albino and she is not looking as bright as she once was, hope it happens soonish.

Its really hard to tell with boas. They don't show blue like our BPs do - or rather its harder to SEE the "blue" with them. My Peaches is a baby too and she's been shedding every 6 weeks pretty regularly. Although when she shed end of October, it had been 10 weeks since her previous one. So it varies. If your baby isn't quite as bright, I'd almost bet he was actually in blue and will shed soon. :gj:

I've had my hog island since october and since then she has shed once, and is currently in shed now. She feeds regularly every week and has shown some nice growth in girth since i've gotten her. I guess it really depends on your boa.

One thing I've noticed with my.boa is that before she is about to shed, her skin gets extremely wrinkly and folds whenever she goes into an "S" shape. Her eyes barely show any cloudyness until they get really blue.

Other than that I find it very hard to tell when she will shed when compared to my BP. With BPs its so easy to tell :p

According to my records she has shed every month for me so yours should shed anytime now.
