    Should I try feeding again?
So my ball python struck at its food, but the rat kinda exploded, not that bad though. And I think that explosion made him lose his appetite or something and he didn't eat it. Is it okay to try again or wait a week?

Id wait a week and next time check how you thaw his food. Sounds like the gut was too hot?

I dont know about the guts, but i know it was soft because I had to check if it was thawed. I thawed like this last week and it didnt explode. I put the rat in the bag so I didnt think the rat would be THAT hot.

yup hot water with the rat in a ziplock bag. Put the ziploc bag in hot water and wait for it to thaw.
