    Runt BP?
I was looking online for BPs and found something interesting. I was on DailyExotics, and found a "2011 Male 50% het Albino Possible het ghost or Pied" for $30! It said it was born with another snake in the same egg! It also said it was born at 26g... Would it be possible it would turn out to be a runt? Like only get 3' or so? I might consider buying it... Would it be a bad idea to get something like that?

Snakes from twin eggs tend to hatch out on the small side, because obviously they were sharing their nutrients and space with another snake. However they almost always catch up in size and turn into healthy normal-sized adults with proper feeding :gj:

If you really want that russian-roulette of a snake as far as genes go, then I'd go for it! He'll catch up with the other sibs in no time.

x2, if its eating i'd go for it, im pretty sure ive seen a couple threads on here of small boob egg snakes that have exploded and actually catch up and pass their siblings in size, dont quote me on that, but im pretty sure thats what ive seen

That's what possible het males are going for, about 30. They're basically normals because most people won't take the time or use a female to try to prove them out. Is he possible het Albino, Ghost AND pied? That might be fun, but if you're planning on breeding a visual male albino or ghost at least is pretty cheap (ive seen male ghosts for 150, albinos for 250, and pieds are about 600-800 so not cheap, but still).

    Are you planning on breeding?

Most twins i've seen through bp.net seem to catch up eventually. Most males top out around 3-3.5 feet regardless. Sometimes you'll get a nice big 'ol boy thats 4-5 but theres no guarantee on size.

Thanks guys :) I do not plan on breeding (at least for a while). If I got him he would just be a pet. You can check him out here: http://dailyexotics.com/available.html
    Looks pretty cool to me.
PS: That $150 spider would be choice #2. :)
