    My new lucy :)))
We went to the gateway reptile expo today and i saw this little girl and instantly bought her! I didnt even hesitate, iv been wanting a lucy texas rat for awhile now.

On another note, i took her home and went to switch her into her new enclosure and she tagged me instantly when i picked her up! Lol shes a fiesty little lady! But i couldnt be more happy with her! :)))

Nice pick up, lucy's are the coolest. My first encounter with a leucistic rat snake was about 5 years ago looking for escaped snakes and lizards behind a reptile wholesaler in my area and out of nowhere a solid white snake falls out of a tree 5 or so feet away from me. So I go check it out and realized it was some type of rat snake but the thing is I didn't know what leucism was at the time, so this was the most amazing snake I had ever caught. Later that day I looked it up on the net and found out what it was and sold it back to them for $100 :D lol. And that bitey attitude just goes with lucy texas rat's, the one I caught bit the heck out of me 3 or so times. Here's a picture to see it's temperament.

Yeah i guess i just gotta get used to being bit to get her trained and docile, this is my favorite snake in my collection, and the price i got her at was a steal :2cent:

Shes been doing good in her new enclosure tho, been doing alot of exploring and burrowing. Im just nervous to start handling her, im one of those people that when i get tagged i jump and freak out (not to the extreme that i would injure my snakes). So hopefully the jumpyness wares off after being tagged a couple times :please:
