    Funky looking pooper....
My Mojave Male BP that just got over his surgery - made his first pooper and it was half solid/half runny. I don't know if this could be from the anitbiotics he was on for 10 days last month or not.

I decided to take it to the vet today for a fecal float to see if there is any parasites - just wondered what you guys thought.

    is...that...really what its called?!?
oh god i'll never look at a root beer float the same way again...:hmm:
antibiotics could make anyone "runny" but good to have that looked into just in case.

Snakes respond differently the physical trama or stress than people do, so the simple stress of the surgery could have very well been the cause of the runny poo..but check with your vet for sure.

Yes, well that is what my doggie vet always referred to the test as "A Fecal Float" sorry if I ruined your image of a rootbeer float - LOL

I called the vet and will be dropping it off this afternoon. Better safe than sorry.

I got the all clear from the vet on the fecal check. Do I need to worry if his poop continues to be part firm part runny???

    Please let me know

    Thanks
