Feeding Quirks

So I haven't had my bps long I've already noticed they have there own little feeding quirks.

Like my male wont eat outside his cage. He likes his meal placed on top of his hide and then he will eat it.

My female het only eats butt first. I offer her the head with the tongs and she still manages to eat butt first.

My other female doesn't like them hanging in the air with the tongs. She prefers them moving on the ground.

Weirdos. ha

What I find quirkie about my little BP is that she DOESN'T have any feeding quirks! LOL If it's a mouse, it's her's! She's a little garbage disposal and has never turned down food. I fed her two days after buying her and she ate like a champ. I can feed her right after handling her, during the day or night, I can stand there and watch her without her exhibiting any signs of stress. I usually hold the mouse's tail with a pair of needlenose pliers and dangle it in front of her. Once I dropped the mouse accidentally and she did hesitate for a second that time. As soon as it was on the ground though, she moved over to it, took one or two good sniffs, and attacked. She's a very outgoing, personable snake though--not very shy at all and is very relaxed with people. Considering she's a pet and not a breeder, I really lucked out with her! She really is the sweetest thing.

My BP started out eating butt first but thats just because they havn't quit figured out the head is easiest. After a while he grew out of it. After mine strangles his mouse he drags its around the cage in a cirlce before actually starting to eat it though. Im not sure if he is un winding himself or what hes doing.

Sounds like he's feng shuing with the mouse. xD
