What Do You Think of These Hides?
Well I was making some hides for the snakes at work and I want to know what you guys think.
For the 20"/24": I have two 5" black plastic bowl thing that are 1 1/2" deep. I cut one hole in the front. Two for the 20" and two for the 24". Hows that sound?

Now for the one I'm worried about, too small?
For the (two) 3 footers: A 10" box, 3" deep. Too small? They curl up pretty small.

Even large ball pythons can cram themselves into surprisingly small spaces. They feel most secure that way, its what they prefer. As long as the whole snake fits in the hide snuggly and it is not ACTUALLY stuck, then you are good. Plastic hides are great, easy to clean, just make sure there are no sharp edges where the hole was cut. With most softer plastics, you can melt down a sharp edge with just a regular old lighter. :) (wait til it cools again before putting it in with your snake:D)
