    Deciding on a new Colubrid
Im wanting to add a new Colubrid to the collection. No corns and no hognoses. Recently iv been interesed in rats and bulls, maby a garter. Iv been seeing these albino checkered garters, amazing pattern and colors imo. I also love the classic texas rat and regular bulls.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Theres a reptile show coming up on the 18th and i want to look out for some new Colubrids.

Also does anyone know a good and trustworthy Colubrid seller website they know of?

why no corns or hogs? personal aversion or just 'too simple'? honestly hognoses (among a few others) are at the top of my list once I get a handle on my collection of balls.

I kept garters as a kid and thoroughly enjoyed them, even without delving into the morph possibilities. they have only gotten more interesting since then.

Corns are to popular, i have to be different :P but no im just not a fan of their patterns at all.

As for hognoses i would probly only be interested in an annaconda phase.

But i like the bigger Colubrids so i stick to kings, rats, bulls, etc. I really want to get a couple of rats, im debating on wether to get a red tailed green rat, their green color is flawless. But then again i like the hypo bull...decisions are tuff lol

If you want something a little less common and big then one of the pituophis might be a good fit. There are some really pretty locality animals as well as quite a few morphs up and coming. I bought a handful of snakes this year from Jason Nelson over at http://www.envyreptiles.com/ and couldn't be more pleased.

I have a couple kings and really like them. Cannot wait till my Mexican Black grows up. They look just awesome. I also have a pair or Honduran Milks. They're little and quite spastic right now. I hope they chill out with age.

I have three foot long Female Brooksie King. I always let her craw on my face and no problem as long as I am free of any animals smell. Very nice girl but with very big food aggresion. She will strike any thing that move if she sense any animal smell including my ball python. I can give her up for free if you want it. I just need room for hog island boa.
