What do you think about this trade? 2011 male pastel 225g 2011 female yellowbelly 233g for a 3ft albino red tail boa and hypo suriname boa.

Im not much into BP's anymore, so I put them up on craigslist for $200 for both and got this offer for a male albino rtb and female hypo Suriname. So what do you think of this trade?

Sounds like a good deal, as long as both of the other snakes are healthy and well cared for!

    123.
I've never been much for boas - awesome, but I'm small :P I would say go for it as long as they are in good health.

They look to be in good health, I will give them the once over when we meet later today, i'll check for mites, mouth rot, and a RI. Then they go to my friends place for 90 day QT I don't trust boa's and pythons in the same qt rack. I'll probably end up selling the hypo and just keeping the albino RTB as a strict pet seeing as my main focus is carpet pythons. I will post an update later and upload pics if we do go through with the trade.

    waltah!
Sounds like a decent deal if the animals are solid. The Hypo Suri is most likely a Colombian/Suri cross, but is probably very pretty. I love me some albino boa so I'd probably do it, myself.

I mainly just want the albino, never been a boa person but there's just something about an albino boa that I like. Probably the fact that I had to sell my 9ft albino green burm in 2006 and I wanted something similar to take his place. So the next best legal thing to own is a albino RTB.

Just got back from meeting with this kid, he must have thought I was a chump. The albino has weird light green blotches on its head and has small chunks of scales missing also had some weird lump on it's neck. Both the hypo and albino had mites and looked under weight. When I told him his snakes had mites his reply was I don't look at my snakes all the time, so I said it's not that hard to see mites on an albino snake. Within the first minute I saw the snakes and looked em over I handed them back and said i'll pass and got into my car and drove off. He can try and dump off his unhealthy animals elsewhere.

Sorry to hear about that. I'm sure you will be able to find another good trade soon.
