I was just wondering how long are you suppose to keep the males in with the females? And how many days off should I give the male? Thanks you in advance!!! :)

    most people like me,
3 days in-3days off to rest and feed.
most males stop eating and most females will either go off feed or pound like theres no tomorrow,

my big normal gal feeds like its going outta style while in breeding mode.

i also keep pairing untill i see ovulation or obvious sign of gravid female-ness.

    x2

I also go ahead and take the male out after they unlock if I witness one, but still give him his full 3 days off.

I agree with everything said! I just wanted to add that I give my smaller, younger or picky eater males a little more than 3 days off.

3 in and 3 out if there's no locks. If they lock, he comes out when they're separated (on their own) and gets 3 days off.

My female normal was eating like there's no tomorrow up until last week when she still took, but wasn't as "enthusiastic" about it. My male pastel seems to only be interested every 2 to 3 weeks.
