Has anyone noticed this when their BP is sleeping?
Yesterday I wanted to handle my BP so I pulled the hide out and went to pick her up. It turned out she was sleeping and when I touched her body I felt it was vibrating when she breathed in like she was snoring. As soon as she woke up it went away.

I'm not worried or anything, I'm just more curious.

Never seen or heard that before but my girl is a light sleeper and wakes up as soon as her hide is removed. Sometimes acts a little sleep drunk though...lol

Mine is def a strong sleeper. I've poked her a few times before realizing she's sleeping. I'll put the hide back on and she'll continue to sleep. In fact the only reason she woke up yesterday when I noticed she was vibrating was because I accidental put one of the sides of the hide down on her lol.

Ive noticed this too but its hard to really tell because they have no eyelids. You can usually tell by their lack of alertness when you lift the hide.

Awe, that sound adorable! And a very deep sleeper! My girl sleeps pretty light and does not appreciate being woken up. She is the sweetest little thing when she is up and about, but she will hiss at me if I wake her from a good sleep and try to get her out. She'll have no part of that. I just laugh, she is like me if I'm woken up, just unpleasant! :D

My Baloo is a deep sleeper too and is grumpy as hell if I wake her up. That's the only tiime she hisses at me but I've never seen her vibrating in sleep.

Yes for sure they also sometimes if you can see the eyes they are just centered not tracking movement at all. I have one whom is a heavy sleeper too I can almost get her out before she kinda realizes what is going on.

As far as I can tell Tuna doesn't mind being woken up. She'll kinda take in her surroundings and then start cruising around the tank.
