I am planning on picking up my first snake soon, and their site states that it is 62g male 3 month old.

What size frozen rats would you feed it? In a previous post I was told fuzzie's. But I didn't have the weight then.

If your going with rats then fuzzies should do the trick. Most BPs can take rat fuzzies from hatchlings.

Make sure you ask whoever your getting it from what they are feeding him and be sure to feed every 5 days because he seems a little under weight for 3 months old.

I am looking at picking him up from Bailey and Bailey reptiles. I am just going off of what the website says, It could very well be out dated on the weights.

How long does a Male Ball normally stay on fuzzy rats? I am wondering so I can decide how many I should order. However it appears that most places only allow me to order in packs of 100 which is certainly overkill for a single snake.

I found I can get 100 fuzzies from Mice Direct for about 50$ or 10 from laynelabs for around 50$ due to shipping costs. Also the only pet store around here is Petsmart and they do not sell feeder rats/ mice.
